Clean and Green Committee
The Clean and Green Committee is focused on providing the residents of the Newbold area with connections to city resources to help make your blocks cleaner and greener! If you're a block captain or just someone interested in helping out, get in touch to find out how we can work together and how we can help you. We have also focused on our partnerships with the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society (PHS),Neighborhood Gardens Association (NGA), and other neighborhood groups to expand the amount of green space in our community.
Our big events are the biannual tree plantings run as part of the TreeVitalize program with PHS. We also have created a thriving neighborhood garden at Reed & Bouvier Sts. in partnership with NGA.
