Our Constitution and By-Laws
East Point Breeze Neighbors (formerly Newbold Neighbors Association) incorporated as a 501(c)3 non-profit neighborhood group in 2008. As part of this process, we created a set of by-laws that determine the function of the officers and committee chairs. The document contains information required by the IRS, including boundaries, purpose, governance, meetings, and financial details.
Update Procedures: All changes to the by-laws are made by the governing board, and require at least 14 days notice to the general membership, followed by a vote of the general membership at a general or special meeting. The changes must pass the vote with at least two-thirds of the present eligible members approval.
East Point Breeze Neighbors (formerly Newbold Neighbors Association) is a 501(c)3 non-profit. The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) 990 form is a tax return charitable corporations are required to file annually. We have posted previous 990-EZ forms below in accordance with accepted best practices for providing transparent operating information about our organization.
